Laboratoire Léon Brillouin (LLB)

The Laboratoire Léon Brillouin (LLB) is a national laboratory funded jointly by the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) and the Commissariat à l’Energie Atomique (CEA). Its missions are:

  • Promote the use of diffraction and neutron spectroscopy in all possible areas of basic and applied research.
  • Welcome and assist teams of experimenters who come, for a limited time, to perform an experiment using one of the instruments at their disposal.
  • Maintain quality research on its own scientific programs; develop collaborations.
